I'm watching the final stage of the Tour de France, live. It occurred to me that if Lance Armstrong wins the Tour in 2010, he will have the record for most years between victories. Gino Bartali won in 1938 and 1948, which is a period of 10 years. Lance would have victories in 1999 and 2010, which is a period of 11 years. See here for a list of multiple Tour winners. It's not up to date, but only Lance's list of victories is incomplete.
