I read your comments regarding my Angels. I am not able to post a reply on your weblog for some unknown reason. This may be due to my using a dated web browser (safari 1.3.2). I am able to login to TypePad and write a message but the 'post' button does not illuminate and so . . . here was my attempted response:
Dear Professor Burgess-Jackson,
This year we serious Angels' fans prefer to be called the reigning AL Western Division Champs or, if you like, the 2002 World Series Champs or, my favorite, the Yankee Killers.
And by serious fans I mean fans that actually attend games and support their home team. By my definition, it seems that many Rangers' fans are lacking in some seriousness.
