Here is an interesting blog post (by a scientist) about water intake during exercise. I have been bicycling for 28 years and running for 13, but I don't know everything about my body. Lately, I've been eating hot and spicy peanuts during my bike rides. This may sound crazy, but the salt not only tastes good; it's essential for replacing the sodium lost through perspiration.
