Here is the latest on Lance Armstrong, who competed today in the "kit" (i.e., outfit) of Mellow Johnny's, which is Lance's bike shop in Austin, Texas. I saw two riders wearing Mellow Johnny's jerseys at today's bike rally in Dallas (report to come). I asked about the name. You won't believe it. "Mellow Johnny" is how someone who doesn't know French (one of Lance's kids, perhaps?) might pronounce "maillot jaune" (yellow jersey). I love it!
