DSCN0022 I had a great time in Wichita Falls this morning at the Hotter 'n Hell Hundred. It was my 20th consecutive Hotter 'n Hell (1990 through 2009, inclusive). I averaged 18.76 miles per hour for 101.9 miles. There were many accidents, unfortunately, some of them serious. My home boys and I avoided crashes and therefore escaped injury. Joe said there were 13,000 riders signed up. The weather was gorgeous. I'll have a full report tomorrow. I took my new Nikon Coolpix S220 camera to document the ride. The image in this post (click to enlarge) shows (from left to right) Jason, his father Joe (can you tell?), yours truly, and Randy. We were at 54 miles (in Burkburnett) with many miles left to ride. I asked one of the rest-stop volunteers to snap the picture for me.
