Read this. Alfonso Soriano of the Chicago Cubs, who is injured and out of commission, says that he wants surgery "sooner than later." Have you ever heard anything so idiotic? It sickens me to hear such abominable speech. What's wrong with wanting surgery "soon"? Doesn't that mean "not later"? Another expression I can't stand is "grow the economy" or "grow my business." Bill Clinton is the first person I heard use this expression, and that makes sense, because he's a dumb hillbilly. Others have no excuse.
