My beloved Detroit Tigers are trying desperately to blow another divisional title. Moments ago, they lost to the Toronto Blue Jays, 8-6, after leading, 6-3. That's five consecutive losses for the Tigers. Their magic number remains at 16. Thank goodness the teams chasing them, the Chicago White Sox and the Minnesota Twins, aren't playing any better. I'm not sure my heart can stand another humiliation, so the Tigers had better hold on.
