Read this. The New York Times has done nothing to investigate ACORN, which may be the most corrupt organization in the United States. That this organization receives federal tax monies makes the story even more important. Isn't the Times supposed to be a watchdog? Note that the undercover journalists who exposted ACORN's corruption are described (twice) as conservatives. Horrors! This has nothing to do with the story, of course. The aim is to delegitimize the journalists in the eyes of the Times's readers. A reputable news organization would have been all over this story months (if not years) ago. The Times didn't say a word about it until it was forced to by events in Congress. You may complete the syllogism.
