I'd like to wish my readers a happy equinox. It's now autumn in my neck of the woods, and wouldn't you know it? Today was the first autumnal day. Yesterday, when I ran, it was hot (90.7º Fahrenheit) and humid. I was starting to wonder whether our weather would change. Today, as if on cue, it was cool and dry. When we get weather out of the Gulf of Mexico, it's hot and humid here in North Texas. When we get weather out of the Arctic, it's cool and dry. I'm ready for cool weather! Shelbie and I got through another long, hot summer. I never think we will, but we always do.
