Magic number for my beloved Detroit Tigers: 4. The Tigers beat the Minnesota Twins in the second game of today's day/night doubleheader, 6-5, after nearly blowing a 5-0 lead. I was on the edge of my seat during the final four innings as the Twins fought back. The Tigers need one more victory in the four-game series. That would reduce their magic number to two, going into the weekend games. With any luck, the Tigers will win the next two against the Twins and make the weekend games meaningless.
