To the Editor:

Tucked away near the bottom of your editorial opposing Republican “scare-mongering” is the admission that opponents may be correct in predicting Medicare financing cuts to “hospitals and other health care providers.” You also point out such cuts might adversely serve Medicare patients.

Being clear-eyed on the bill’s contents is hardly “scare-mongering.”
