It took three hours, 41 minutes for this nine-inning, 5-4 game to be played. There were 13 pitchers. I'm glad I didn't waste my time watching it. I used to think long games were fine. I don't know what happened, but I now think a nine-inning game should take no more than two hours. Perhaps if fans made a compact to leave the park or turn off their television sets after two and a half hours, Major League Baseball would do something. Are you with me on this, or agin' me?
