Ten years ago today, I paid $1.189 per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline at a Shell station in Fort Worth. Ten days ago, I paid $2.399 per gallon for the same grade and brand of gasoline in Fort Worth. The price has more than doubled in a decade. Will it double again in the next decade?
