The seventh game of this year's World Series is scheduled for 5 November. In 1968, when there were no playoffs, my beloved Detroit Tigers won the seventh game of the World Series on 10 October. In 1984, when there was one layer of playoffs, my Tigers won the fifth (and final) game of the World Series on 14 October. We could have 16 more days of baseball. I'm sorry, but there should be no baseball after Halloween. This has nothing to do with not liking baseball. It has everything to do with fittingness.
