Hey Keith,
My connection to Deep Purple. In 1985, the year after my father died, my mother sold her home in Greenwich, CT to Roger Glover. None of us knew who he was but my children were thrilled. He was very nice and gave them autographed stuff. I spoke with him several times. Was always very pleasant.
