I'd like to thank my fellow philosopher Ed Feser for the generous words. He is too kind by half. While I did start the Conservative Philosopher blog, I didn't have the people skills necessary to sustain it. When one of the contributors (whom I should never have allowed in, since he had no philosophical credentials) began making demands on me as though the blog were his, I kicked him off. This evidently infuriated him, for he began lying about me to the others, most of whom, believing his lies, left. That tells you everything you need to know about their character. (I could name names, but I won't. I'm better than they are.) Ed Feser and Bill Vallicella, to their credit, stayed with me even though they also moved to the other blog. I will never forget that act of loyalty. By the way, I never visited the other blog. Not once. Like The Conservative Philosopher, it is now defunct.
Addendum: Someone wrote (anonymously) to say that the person in question did indeed have "philosophical credentials." He was, according to the brave writer, "ABD." What part of "credentials" does this moron not understand? Maybe he or she thinks "ABD" is a degree, like "Ph.D."! In many cases, it means "unable, for lack of intelligence or discipline, to complete the requirements for the degree."
