I'm not the least bit interested in the NBA, but I love college basketball, especially at tournament time in March. My beloved Arizona Wildcats won the NCAA title in 1997. Things have gone downhill from there. I just discovered that the Cats are not ranked in the preseason poll. Worse, they got no points. None. Nada. Zilch. They have fallen off the basketball map. Thousands of Tucsonans, and legions of Arizona graduates all over the world (including my graduate-school friend Mylan Engel), are distraught this day. May I live long enough to see the Cats return to dominance!
