I agree with the author of this New York Times column: "The World Series is different from the postseason." I don't know why David Fryman can't see this. It's the biggest stage. It's the final series of the season, with everything on the line. It's what players live for. It's what fans remember. It produces heroes and goats. Some players crack under the pressure. Some, such as Mickey Lolich and Reggie Jackson, thrive in it. So far, A-Rod is cracking.
