Dear KBJ,
I just watched an exchange between a Democrat and a Republican on THIS DAY with George Stephanopolous. I have concluded that we are doomed.
The question was: What is your party offering on health care to the American citizen? The so called conservative (R) offered his versions, but of course never even stated that maybe the role of government is not to provide health care to people. I am so depressed. I am literally watching my country fall into fascism/communism and feel that the majority of my countrymen are too damned stupid to understand what they are voting for, or if they do understand what it is they are voting for, actually want a lord and master. What kind of men want to be pampered and taken care of (ruled over) as adults? We will have a bunch of unelected elites ruling us before long (think European Union), just watch and see. I believe that we will actually see a dictator in our lifetime. We are a morally bankrupt and degenerate people. We grovel to Muslim fanatics and Euro-weenies, want mama government to take care of us, and have no standards of civil conduct in the public arena anymore. I also am tired of politics taking up so much of my conscious time. But as the government controls more and more of my life, it will consume more and more of my conscious time. When the government is everything, it is all you think about, politics rules all. How utterly sad. Sorry for the rant, but I am so damned depressed about this. I am watching a great country fall to ruin.
