I thought you might enjoy this well-thought-out article on why Texas is better than California. To me it was very expressive of how federalism should work (by giving citizens the ability to choose the state government that works best for their needs), as well as why California’s ‘progressive’ fiscal policies are failing the needs of its citizens.
