Mark Spahn sent a link to this animated map, which shows the increasing rate of unemployment in the United States. I feel sorry for people who are out of a job. If the government would get its hands off the economy, things would be better. It would also help if we abandoned the insidious idea of free trade, which does nothing more than spread American wealth (including jobs) to other parts of the world. We need to get back to protecting American industries and American workers.
