The editorial board of the New York Times opposes capital punishment in all cases, including that of Kenneth Biros. There is no mention in the editorial opinion of what Biros did. Read pages 12 through 17 of this document, which quotes the Supreme Court of Ohio. I wonder why the board didn't mention any of this.

Addendum: How many of the board members would hold the position they do if it had been their daughter who was abducted, strangled, mutilated, and dismembered by Biros? I'm guessing zero. But Biros's victim was somebody's daughter; why should it matter whose?
