Lance Armstrong talks about his future. In case you follow golf but not cycling, Armstrong is the Tiger Woods of cycling. When he retires, the sport will suffer. The French will pretend otherwise, but deep down they know it's true. Indeed, one reason they hate him (besides his being an American and, God forbid, a Texan like George W. Bush) is that he is so important to the sport they love (and which they think they own). You always hate that on which you depend for your sustenance.
