My friend Jeff and I are compiling a list of conservative rockers. Yes, Virginia, there is such a thing. So far, we have the following:

Joe Perry (Aerosmith)
Alice Cooper
Bob Dylan
Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin)
Ted Nugent
Gene Simmons (Kiss)

I'm not sure about Simmons. I recall him saying some hawkish things during the war in Iraq. For all I know, he is a neoconservative rather than a conservative. (I don't consider neoconservatives conservatives, any more than I consider libertarians conservatives. A better name for neoconservatives would be "quasi-conservatives" or "demi-conservatives," though probably not "pseudo-conservatives.") Do you know of any other conservative rockers?
