Don't ask me how it happened, but I went from despising the Dallas Cowboys to liking them. It may have something to do with the fact that the Cowboys haven't won in a long time and are humbled. I used to hate the whole "America's Team" thing, especially when the 'Boys were winning Super Bowls right and left. I also admit to not liking Michael Irvin. Even Emmitt Smith could be insufferable. I could never work up a dislike of Troy Aikman, who is a class act in every way. As for Jerry Jones, he's a winner, like George Steinbrenner. He probably gets too involved in personnel decisions (including head coaches), but nobody can question his desire to win and his commitment to excellence. I'm looking forward to watching tonight's game against the Washington Redskins. Are you?
