This man, like so many others in the elite worlds of art, journalism, entertainment, and academia, suffers from Palin Derangement Syndrome. Is he not embarrassed to flaunt his sickness for all the world to see? Maybe he isn't, because the people who matter to him, as well as the people whose opinions he values, suffer from the same syndrome. I honestly feel sorry for him. Perhaps he will get the help he needs so that he can resume (if he ever had one) a normal life. How awful it must be to so hate someone as to become twisted by it.
Addendum: Wait a minute. I figured it out. The elites hate Sarah Palin because she has no use for them. Indeed, she has contempt for them. Hell hath no fury like a self-important elitist scorned!
