They don't make 'em any fiercer (or more intimidating) than the Big Unit. He will be missed.
Addendum: Johnson completed 100 of the 603 games he started, which is 16.5%. Bob Gibson, by contrast, completed 255 of the 482 games he started, which is 52.9%. This is not to denigrate Johnson. It is to exalt Gibson, compared to whom most of today's pitchers are wimps.
Addendum 2: Greg Maddux completed 109 of the 740 games he started, which is 14.7%.
