Boondocks It was 33.8º Fahrenheit when I finished running just now. The average wind speed is 20 miles per hour, with gusts to 30. The wind chill is a frigid (for us) 16º! I was worried about frostbite on my extremities. So far, everything seems to be working. Sometimes I wonder how I survived for 26 years in Michigan. I don't recall being cold when it was 33º. That would have seemed mild. Do you suppose that living in Tucson for five years and Texas for 21 reduced my tolerance for cold? I do know that I have little body fat; but then, that's always been the case. Maybe I'm just becoming a weenie as I age. What do you think: reduced tolerance for cold or increased weeniehood (or both)?
