Vladimir "Vlad the Impaler" Guerrero has signed with my adoptive team, the Texas Rangers. The best part of this deal is that Guerrero will no longer kill the Rangers. I think he hit safely in 40-odd games against the Rangers during the past few years. If Guerrero stays healthy, he'll help the team, because he's a terrific hitter. I just hope the other Rangers don't emulate his wild swinging style. It may work for him, but it's not likely to work for anyone else. How many of you remember Manny Sanguillen? Be careful!
