You can be sure that if Europe were experiencing a heat wave rather than a cold snap, it would be cited as evidence in favor of the global-warming hypothesis. This isn't science, folks; it's religion. Just as, for certain theists, nothing is allowed to count against the existence of God, nothing is allowed to count against the global-warming hypothesis.
