Dear Greg:
I may be a thirty-two year old lawyer and university professor, but that doesn't prevent me from having idols. I just want you to know how much you inspired me with your performance in the 1989 Tour de France—especially on the final day. I've been riding my bike on a regular basis for four and a half years, but only this past fall did I participate in organized rallies. What fun! This year I'm determined to be competitive. Thanks for showing me what can be done when you set your sights high and work hard. I will never forget what you accomplished this past summer.
