Thank you, Steve.
Addendum: I hope tonight's Republican victory (Scott Brown over Martha Coakley for the United States Senate seat held by the late Edward "Ted" Kennedy) halts the mad rush towards socialized medicine, which would not only destroy individual liberty (via the so-called mandate) but heap crushing debt on future generations. (It would also end up rationing health care.) What we need is not a health-care revolution but health-care reform. The existing system, which has served us well (albeit imperfectly), needs to be tweaked to make it more competitive. Progressives think that government is the solution of the health-care problems we face. No. It is the problem. The solution is free enterprise, with sensible regulations thereof. In other words, we need capitalistic medicine, not socialized medicine. Those who cannot afford health care, through no fault of their own, will be provided for at public expense. No child in this country should go without adequate health care. If this means higher taxes for everyone, then so be it.
