This sickens me. Now do you know why I don't join anything? I resigned my longtime membership in the American Philosophical Association to protest its inane "referendum" on the war in Iraq. I belong to no political party (though I was at one time a card-carrying member of the Libertarian Party). I oppose PETA, which exploits women and uses manipulative rhetoric. As soon as like-minded individuals come together, someone commercializes the event. If you believe in limited government, vote for those who share your views and values. Join nothing. Refuse to be labeled. Resist exploitation and commercialization.
