Seagate Expansion External Hard Drive I just bought a one-terabyte (i.e., 1,000-gigabyte) Seagate Expansion external hard drive for my desktop computer, as a backup. It cost $129.89, counting 8.25% sales tax. What's funny is that my computer (a Dell Dimension 8200) has an 80-gigabyte hard drive. The Seagate is therefore 12.5 times larger than the hard drive it is backing up. I was tempted to buy a 1.5-terabyte external hard drive, but it seemed a bit much, given that I haven't filled up 80 gigabytes on my computer. Aren't external hard drives great? I'll bet mine is bigger than yours.

Addendum: I wrote "1.5-gigabyte" when I meant "1.5-terabyte." It has been changed.
