Let's take a vote. How many of you are in favor of throwing "throw X under the bus" under the bus? What is the origin of this ridiculous phrase, anyway? I have never thrown anything (or anyone) under a bus. Have you? I've never even heard of something (or someone) being thrown under a bus.
