Windows 7Some of you may recall that in the summer of 2007, I thought my Dell Dimension 8200 desktop computer was going bad. I ordered two new computers to replace it: a Dell XPS 210 desktop (with all the bells and whistles) and a Dell XPS M1210 notebook. The Dimension continued to work, so I left the XPS desktop in the box. Today, at long last, I opened the box and set up the computer. That's why I haven't posted much on this blog. I encountered a few obstacles along the way, such as getting the computer on my home wireless network, but I've leapt all of them. Right now, the computer is updating itself. There are 93 updates! As soon as it is finished, I will upgrade from Windows Vista (Home Premium) to Windows 7 (Home Premium). I can't wait to see how Windows 7 works. With any luck, I'll be able to upgrade my XPS notebook with the same disc.

Addendum: The other day, I switched from Windows Internet Explorer to Mozilla Firefox because my YouTube videos weren't displaying properly on my blog. (It must have something to do with the wireless network I set up, because nothing else has changed.) I then switched from Firefox to Google Chrome, which I liked even more. But the images I posted on my blog came out extremely small in Chrome, so I went back to Firefox. Does anyone know why the images were small? If I click them, they enlarge, and then when I hit the "back" button, they appear full size.
