Ice Hockey I sent the following message to my Canadian friend Grant:

We schooled you Canucks in hockey yesterday.

He replied:

Hardly. Your sporting judgment leaves much to be
desired. It was a major upset. Canada actually "schooled" the USA. We dominated,
but goaltenders made the difference. Everyone knew that this was a possibility
months ago – it was openly discussed north of the border. It happens regularly
in team sport. That's why real sport supremacy is determined by a 7-game
play-off series. Your team would be the losers, clearly. Now grow up. Immaturity
is not becoming once grey hairs start appearing….

Is it me, or is this a case of being a sore loser?

Addendum: Grant sent a link to this, with the subject line "take note." The greatness of America lies in the fact that it has not (yet) invaded Canada. It would be like taking candy from a baby. One wonders whether Canadian males such as Grant would stop playing ice hockey long enough to fight.
