I'm sick to death of pocket-sized digital cameras. I've owned two models: a Casio Exilim Zoom EX-Z3 (3.2 megapixels) and a Nikon Coolpix S220 (10 megapixels). I don't think I got a decent picture out of either camera. I've owned only one 35-millimeter camera in my life: a Pentax K1000. It was time to buy a 35-millimeter digital camera. A few minutes ago, I ordered this. I got it for $849.99, which is $50 less than the manufacturer's suggested retail price. There was no sales tax or shipping expense. My friend David in North Carolina—a professional photographer—helped me shop and answered my questions about technical specifications. Thanks, David!
