Here are scenes from yesterday's stage of the Tour of California, which began in San Francisco and ended in Santa Cruz. A horrible thing happened as I was watching the stage (live). The network (Versus) broke away to a hockey game when there were two kilometers to race. The peloton was bearing down on the three breakaway riders, one of whom was defending champion Levi Leipheimer. Versus is a disgrace. It cares nothing about the integrity of the sports it covers. As you can see here, many viewers are furious.
