The editorial board of the New York Times calls Rand Paul, an avowed libertarian, an extremist. Does the board not realize that, to most Americans, the board's egalitarianism is extreme? The board probably thinks its own views, which exalt government at every turn, are mainstream. Come November,  we'll see whether Americans incline toward limited government or expansive government. I predict limited.
