I know this sounds crazy, but someone—I still don't know who—left two Texas Rangers tickets on my door yesterday. The $25 seats looked good, so Katherine and I went to the game. We had a great view of the field from behind first base. The Rangers won their 11th consecutive game, beating the Pittsburgh Pirates, 6-5. Vladimir Guerrero, a fan favorite, drove in the winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning. The weather was gorgeous. That's my sweetheart and me in the picture.
