Here is a preview of tomorrow's Tour de France prologue. The main purpose of a prologue is to classify (i.e., sort) the 200 riders, so that someone can wear the yellow jersey during Stage 1. This purpose can be accomplished with a short course. The prologue tomorrow is only 5.53 miles.
