There was carnage in today's stage of the Tour de France, which I watched live this morning on Versus HD. Here is video. The winner of the stage was French cyclist Sylvain Chavanel, who averaged 26.68 miles per hour for 124.90 miles. Lance Armstrong crashed, but so did many others. There will be many sore riders tomorrow. The Tour goes on. Here is a preview of tomorrow's stage, some of which is on cobblestones. Expect more carnage, especially if the stones are wet.
