Here is the final kilometer of today's stage of the Tour de France. The stage winner was British cyclist Mark Cavendish (again), who averaged 25.11 miles per hour for 141.3 miles. There were no significant changes in the overall standings (known in cycling as the general classification, or GC). The Tour now enters the mountains. The focus will shift from sprinters to climbers.
