Re “Ringo
Starr, at Age 70. The Beatles, Ageless,” by Eduardo Porter
(Editorial Notebook, July 7):
Take a deep breath. Yes, Ringo Starr is now 70, but that doesn’t mean
that “youth itself is now 70 years old.” Young people walked the earth
long before the 1960s, and will long after. Not everything is about the
baby boomers.
