I hope you didn't rely to your detriment on my prediction about yesterday's All-Star game. I predicted that the American League would win, 7-4. The National League won, 3-1. My choice for Most Valuable Player, Vladimir Guerrero, did nothing. The game was close and exciting, right to the end, but was marred (repeatedly) by the mention of George Steinbrenner, who was little more than a thug. It's too bad that his thuggish sons are now running the team. The apple never falls far from the tree.
Addendum: Texas Rangers hitters went 1-7 in the game. Cliff Lee pitched a solid inning.
