I'm enjoying the Tour de France, despite Lance Armstrong's fall from contention. Each morning, I rise early (sometimes as early as 5:30), turn on the television, walk Shelbie, and sit down to enjoy the commentary and racing. I don't sit through commercial advertisements. Whenever Versus takes a break, I jump up to do things around the house. By the time the stage is over, I've done my chores for the day. Here is the final kilometer of today's stage into Gap. The stage winner was Portuguese cyclist Sergio Paulinho, who averaged 21.46 miles per hour for 111.2 miles. Paulinho is a member of Armstrong's RadioShack team. Ordinarily, the team would keep him near the leader (now Levi Leipheimer) for support, but today he was allowed to break away, and he did not let the team down. It shows the strength of RadioShack that one of its domestiques can win a stage when allowed to contest it. Here is a preview of tomorrow's stage.
