Bush Lied 2 For more than seven years, we have heard it said, by progressives generally and by those suffering from Bush Derangement Syndrome in particular, that President George W. Bush lied about Iraq having weapons of mass destruction. I have challenged readers of this blog (and of my Tech Central Station columns) to support this scurrilous charge. I have explained ad nauseam what a lie is, and how it differs from the mere utterance of a falsehood. We now know, of course, that those who were saying that President Bush lied were themselves lying. They knew that what they were saying was false, but said it anyway in order to deceive. Could the irony be more delicious?
