I love the heat. I moved from Michigan to Tucson, Arizona, in August 1983. For 27 years (more than half my life), I have lived in either Arizona or Texas. Yesterday's high temperature at DFW Airport was 104º Fahrenheit. It's supposed to reach 105º today and tomorrow. (I will go out for a 3.1-mile run later today. Yesterday, on my "day off" from athletic activity, I walked 4.3 miles at a pace of 4.16 miles per hour.) Please note that these high temperatures are not unusual, so they provide no support whatsoever for the hypothesis of global warming. This past July was one of the coolest on record, with an average high temperature of only 94.8º. This won't stop the global warmists from saying (or implying) that the heat we are experiencing is attributable to global warming. To them, everything counts in favor of global warming and nothing counts against it. That's the mark of religion, not science.
