This is interesting. Does it seem to you, as it does to Joe Torre, that umpires have shorter fuses than before? I've been a baseball fan since 1967, and I've never seen so many ejections of players. Two questions: (1) If you believe that the number of ejections has increased, what is your explanation? (2) If you believe that the number of ejections has increased, is it a good thing, on balance?
